Seadream is a yacht not a cruise ship, with only 55 cabins it is a fabulous experience, service is amazing, there is almost a one to one ratio of crew staff to clients. Nothing is too much trouble.
The food was excellent lots of choice, but portions not too large. There was no need to pay any extra for wine, the "house" wine was very good. You got the chance to sit at different tables, with different people, every meal.
The entertainment was limited, singing in the piano bar and disco on deck or occasionally a film shown in the salon. There is a casino but it only had 2 tables and can only open when at sea which on our cruise wasn't very often. One advantage was the ship stayed in port later in the evenings, normally until 11.30pm so you could go back on shore after dinner.
We didn't get to experience the water toys because of the weather, would certainly recommend the Spa, with the current dollar rate it cost approx £60 but was well worth it. The gym on board was adequate, with a stepper, 2 bikes and 5 treadmills along with weight machines it was never very busy.
We didn't take in any of the organised excursions although we did do the walk with the cruise director at each port (took approx 45 minutes), where he pointed out places of interest and the main shopping areas, very useful for exploring on your own.
The other passengers were mainly American, very friendly, quite a varied age range.
